Brown University’s School of Public Health comprises 12 nationally renowned research centers and institutes, which focus on training, and research on key areas including evidence based medicine, HIV/AIDS, statistical sciences, global health, primary care, preventive medicine, and community health.
Project Summary This project hoped to evaluate the effect of policies in the 2010 Affordable Care Act (ACA) on the stability of coverage among Medicaid beneficiaries in Colorado. Researchers hoped to use CO APCD data to characterize and understand the impact of policies on coverage stability, which could contribute to reductions in costs and improvement in the quality of care.
Benefit to Colorado The project could benefit Colorado residents by improving the quality of care delivered to Medicaid beneficiaries while reducing costs.
