We’re excited to announce the release of a new Hospital Price Transparency (HPT) Database for use in research, public policy, advocacy, and more. The HPT Database incorporates pricing from 84 Colorado hospitals and includes:
- Over 52 million rows of data
- Gross charges and negotiated rates at the payer and plan levels
The original hospital-posted data has been standardized and consolidated into a clean CSV format, enabling analysis in individual environments. Supporting documentation details the cleaning methods and field definitions.
The HPT Database provides robust data for an accessible cost of just $10,000, with discounts available to non-profits, government entities, academic institutions, and researchers.
Click here to schedule a time to meet or send us an email if you’d like to learn more about licensing the Hospital Price Transparency Database.
The HPT Database has the potential to support:
- Policy Research Organizations evaluating cost drivers and regulatory impact.
- Academic Researchers performing advanced modeling with standardized data.
- Consumer Advocacy Groups highlighting price disparities and educating the public.
