DESCRIPTION:Join CIVHC & National Leaders to Discuss CO Quality and Cost Drivers \nFor the past several years\, CIVHC has been working with three other states and national leaders from Network for Regional Health Improvement (NRHI)\, Harvard University\, and the National Bureau of Economic Research to understand the driving forces behind regional differences in quality of care and costs. \nJoin us and our national partners on Oct. 18th as we reveal initial results of this project aimed at understanding and measuring delivery systems best suited to improve outcomes and lower costs. Preliminary results from Colorado will be shared and we’ll be looking for input from those of you in the community to help us shape the remainder of the project and inform some of the initial results. \nAgenda: \n\nProject overview\nSummary of the work going on in the four states (CO\, UT\, OR\, MA)\nPresentation of Colorado’s initial results\nDiscussion and dialogue regarding the results and future of this work\n\nClick below to register for the webinar\, OR\, for in person registration\, click here.

SUMMARY:Change Agent Chat - Duke University
DESCRIPTION:Organizations across the nation break down barriers firmly entrenched in our health care system. With boundless passion and limited resources\, they increase access to care\, implement innovative ways to deliver high quality care at affordable prices\, and\, day in and day out\, fight to keep Americans healthy. \nDuring these chats\, we will highlight one of these Change Agents and the exciting work they are doing to create a better health system for us all. \nDuke University \nGraduate students from Duke University used CO APCD data to  investigate the effect of Colorado’s health exchange on health care utilization\, and learn how the variation in exchange premiums across the state was affected by the interaction of market structure\, selection\, and location. \nWhat did the students discover? Is there a correlation between the Health Exchange and utilization? \nJoin our 30 minute #ChangeAgentChat on Friday\, October 13th\, 12-12:30pm MT\, hosted by CIVHC’s Chief Medical Officer\, Tamaan Osbourne-Roberts\, MD. Click link below to register. \nLinks to all Chat recordings will be posted to the guest’s Change Agent profile in our Change Agent Gallery.

SUMMARY:Change Agent Chat - Brigham and Women's Hospital
DESCRIPTION:Organizations across the nation break down barriers firmly entrenched in our health care system. With boundless passion and limited resources\, they increase access to care\, implement innovative ways to deliver high quality care at affordable prices\, and\, day in and day out\, fight to keep Americans healthy. \nDuring these chats\, we will highlight one of these Change Agents and the exciting work they are doing to create a better health system for us all. \nBrigham and Women’s Hospital \nLocated in Boston\, Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is a major teaching facility affiliated with Harvard University. Analysis of the data will indicate the economic impact of skin cancer\, determine any care and outcome disparities between regions\, and identify possible trends in prevalence and treatment. \nFind out what BWH’s researchers have discovered about skin cancer in Colorado and how outcomes across the state stack up with the rest of the nation. \nJoin our 30 minute #ChangeAgentChat on Friday\, September 8th\, 12-12:30pm MT\, hosted by CIVHC’s Kristin Paulson\, JD\, MPH\, Vice President of Programs and Analytics. SUMMARY:Change Agent Chat - DRCOG
DESCRIPTION:The Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) is the federally designated Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and provides services designed to help senior Coloradans live full and healthy lives. How do the outcomes of AAA clients differ from those not in the program? \nGet answers to those questions and more during our 30 minute #ChangeAgentChat on Friday\, August 11th\, 12-12:30pm MT\, hosted by CIVHC’s VP of Communication and Marketing\, Cari Frank. \nLinks to all Chat recordings will be posted to the guest’s Change Agent profile in our Change Agent Gallery.
